Maison Verget
Jean-Marie Guffens and his wife Maine have lived in the Mâconnais region since 1976. They are totally self-taught and their rebellious spirit has not always had the good fortune to please the French authorities, who have made life difficult for them... As well as the Guffens-Heynen vineyard, in 1990 this Flemish couple established the Verget trading company, enabling them to exploit "all the subtleties of a single appellation". The Verget philosophy is crystal clear: “The best wine is made using the best grapes". Grapes that Jean-Marie Guffens buys from preferred partners to produce quality wines.
Chablis "Cuvée de la butte"

Hint of vanilla on the nose, dominated by aromas of bush peaches.
This plump, fruity character can be sensed in the mouth. Vivacity and freshness from the attack phase, offset by a fine roundness.
Poached or pan-fried fish, seafood risotto, goat's cheese.
12-14°C.
