Château Favori
He wasn't born with a golden spoon in his mouth, but the sale of his shares in the start-up Ogone, the international online payment platform he co-founded, was enough to make him a rich man. Thierry Pierson has found his new paradise in the heart of green Provence: a 45-hectare wine estate, which he has nicely named Château Favori, after the locality where the vineyard grows. Positioning itself in the same way as Minuty and Miraval, the two "M's" that have boosted the Provence rosé market, Château Favori leaves nothing to chance in order to become one of the very best as quickly as possible: from the soil studies carried out by the Bourguignon couple to hyper-careful marketing and the construction of a brand new winery, Favori rosé has only one ambition: to become yours...
Château Favori 2021
This is only the third vintage for the new owners of the estate, who are supported by the consultant oenologist Gilles Baude. And it is already a great success!
Harvesting at night on the most beautiful plots of the estate. Direct pressing. Fermentation at 16°C to release the aromatic potential.
Luminous pink colour.
Red fruit on the nose, with floral notes from the Rolle (or Vermentino).
Greedy mouth (the mark of the Grenache which is the majority in the blend). Freshness and balance. We say "wow" to the structure of this rosé that can be described as gastronomic.
Aperitif, summer dishes... fiesta.
8 - 10 °C
