Klein Rijselhoek
After over ten years of tests on two plots in Menin, where he lives, Peter Vandamme planted one hectare with interspecific varieties at the foot of Mont Rouge, in the heart of Heuvelland. His goal has always been to produce natural wines. He is one of just two Belgian winemakers (the other being Servaas Blockeel, near Courtrai) to have chosen this arduous path. His wines have a distinctive purity.
Cabernet Cortis
Cabernet Cortis is originally a Germany grape variety, born of a cross between Solaris (white grape) and Cabernet Sauvignon (red). It is relatively early.
Deep rosé robe.
Floral aromas on the nose (violets).
Voluptuous in the mouth, dominated by fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry, cherries). Full bodied.
As an aperitif or served with a meal.
8-10°C
