Fresh - Fruity
Right at the very tip of Belgium, where the Flemish and the French rub shoulders and the slopes dream of being mountains, lies the spot where Martin Bacquaert has his roots and produces elegant, thoroughbred wines. His domain is called Entre-Deux-Monts – between two mountains – logically enough, since it nestles between Mont Rouge and Mont Noir, both firmly anchored on the French-Belgian border. Entre-Deux-Monts covers now seventeen hectares planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Auxerrois, Kerner (Riesling family) and Siegerrebe (Gewürztraminer family). In 2018, Martin Bacquaert planted new Acolon vines.
It is undoubtedly one of the most successful Pinots Noirs of the Heuvelland, without seeking maximum extraction.
Aromas of cherries and wild strawberries with spicy notes (bay leaf, clove).
Well-balanced, with an attack of red berries and a well-controlled acidity.
A fish "à la plancha", a grilled poultry.
