A finely crafted Bordeaux for meals with friends.
Round - Fruity
Château de Jabastas
Set on the left bank of the Dordogne, at a strategic point for those wishing to contemplate the bore – that spectacular wave that flows upstream against the current at the time of the great equinoctial tides – the Château de Jabastas was acquired by Alain Vercouter in 2002. Together with friends from Bordeaux, he had already visited a number of domains, but when he came across Jabastas, he says he "felt something special". Alain Vercouter puts his heart and soul into the task of creating wines that are just like him: warm and generous. The vineyard covers 11 hectares, planted mainly with Merlot.
Cadet de Jabastas
Dominated by Merlot, hence the roundness, this pleasurable wine was matured and vinified in a cement tank for 12 months.
Garnet red robe.
Aromas of ripe red berries, cinnamon and spices.
Generous attack, gourmet taste in the mouth and very pleasant finish.
Ideal with roast chicken served with ratatouille.
